Letter from Francis T. Hoover to Jane Ann Hedley, later his wife, describing the Gettysburg Battlefield, September 25, 1863. He describes the battlefield, soldiers' graves and plans for the relocation of bodies, as well as damage to the town and the seminary at which he was a student.
